Communications Coordinator
The Communications Coordinator is tasked with facilitating HBLT communications to Health Advocates, as well as communications within the HBLT. They ensure the program and the HBLT run smoothly. 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a weekly 1 hour meeting with the HBLT
  • Revitalize the Health Bridges Instagram (posting at least biweekly)
  • Organize the Health Bridges email account and Drive
  • Manage communication between all members of the HBLT
  • Collect data and updates from each coordinator for CBD, grant applications/surveys, and impact reports
  • Update on a regular basis:
    • Health Bridges website and Instagram
    • Health Advocate bios, HBLT headshots, and testimonies
    • Semesterly Impact Reports
    • Social and community flyers (HPE, Social Needs, etc…) 
    • Health Bridges semester calendar as changes are made
  • Event-Planning
    • Release and organize RSVP forms
    • Create flyers and Facebook events if needed
  • Coordinate reimbursements for Health Advocates
  • Support for Health Advocates applying to PCIP and other forms of institutional support by drafting and sending offer letters
  • Provide additional support to the HBLT and other coordinators

Qualifications
Required
  • Currently enrolled as a student at one of the Claremont Colleges*
  • Commitment to 2-6 hours per week for a minimum of 2 semesters
  • Understanding of and dedication to Health Bridges’ mission
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills, timeliness, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred
  • Previous working experience with Health Bridges and/or familiarity with grant writing, communications, and process improvement
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate weekend and/or evening communications
  • Interest in long-term commitment to Health Bridges
  • Strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and optimism
