The Napier InitiativeThe Napier Initiative is a memorial fund dedicated to the memories of Davie and Joy Napier, two residents at Pilgrim Place, a senior community in Claremont, California. Each year, the Napier Initiative awards several graduating seniors from the Claremont Colleges $12,000 to pursue a project related to social justice, environmental sustainability, or peacemaking. In 2015, Hong Deng Gao became a Napier Fellow and initiated the Health Bridges project.

Donald A. Strauss FoundationThe Donald A. Strauss Public Service Scholarship Foundation is a memorial fund dedicated to the memory of Donald Strauss, a lifelong advocate of public service and education. Each year, the Strauss Foundation funds 14 student leaders from pre-selected California colleges and universities to pursue a project related to public service or social change in their junior or senior year. In 2015, Health Bridges co-founder Maria Arciniega was awarded $10,000 to undertake the Health Bridges project.

Rocking Moon Foundation, Inc.Rocking Moon Foundation is a nonprofit that focuses on youth education, economically disadvantaged and at-risk youth, and the needs of gay, lesbian and transgender youth. In 2016, Health Bridges received a $10,000 grant from the Foundation to continue and expand its services.

Tri-City Mental HealthTri-City Mental Health is a public mental health authority and provider of outpatient services for the residents of Claremont, La Verne, and Pomona. Tri-City supports an integrated System of Care for individuals experiencing mental health symptoms and their families. In 2020 and 2021, Health Bridges received a $5,000 grant from the institute.
